So conversation starter...so why did IH only produce only 2000 800 Q/Lis lack of interest in an 8h/p tractor in those days, was it planned to only be a limited production run or is there another reason????

Ethan...they built what sold.....8hp gear drives didn't!!!!!

Steve-that’s what I figured...we have two for sale on C/L and there not moving

David S.
What he's saying is, the 147 doesn't have that grill, hence no decal.

Yesterday was a big day for a future cub enthusiast. This is Nolan, Damons youngest son and he drove the 108/128 (Bull)
for the first time and it was to go get his first 8 pointer. Dad was right there with him of course but walking.
A couple of weeks ago Nolan missed a nice buck with his crossbow.
He was so mad no one could even talk to him. Yesterday he was glowing.

The first pics are heading out to the woods and the rest are self explanatory.

He shot the deer over corn about 100 yards from my back door. I was out working on a project and the shot startled me it was so close.

Here's the last pic of Nolan with his buck. Apparently 5 pics was too much.

Wayne-good for him...it’s never to soon to get youngsters out hunting and enjoying bringing his deer in with a cool old Cub Cadet!!!

I could use one of those grill decals for my 86 too. My decal had the red faded out, and one evening after a few refreshments, I pulled the grill off, taped off the 'I' and painted it with a red paint marker. Didn't come out too bad. I'd take an OEM one if I could though.
