Bill' I pulled the same stunt about 2 months ago. So don't feel like the Lone Ranger. Got to paint gastank and straps right after I figured what was wrong.

It was a decent Minnesota day today, so I took the 1250 Nightmare out for a little cruise. I think it ran the best today that it has since it's latest temper tantrum. A guy stopped me on the street and looked at the tractor. His comment: I have never seen a John Deere painted quite like this one." Ouch. The gentleman received an education.

Brian, I'm not sure I would have been so gentle. Depending on my mood he would have either gotten "an earful" as opposed to an education, or just plain left there standing with no further words spoken.

I mean come on, the name is written right on the side.
