I had a shock yesterday.I was on the comp, and sweet Hannah was sitting in front of the comp screen like she does when she wants attention

, and to my surprise she ever so gently steps down into my lap and curls up . GOOD GRIEF.! She's never been a snuggler, and it wasn't until after Stinker passed that Hannah started curling up with me on the couch when I'm watching TV but she hasn't ever snuggled up in my lap.!! then reached her right paw up and put it as high as she could reach on my left arm, and then would give me little squeezes with her paw. It was so sweet. She snuggled in my lap for a good half hour. All the while she was gazing in my eyes with a look of complete love and adoration.

Marlin and her have had SECRET

lap time. She has been sitting in her daddys lap when he's on the comp, but if he calls for me to come look, she'll jump down, or look at him, like don't tell mommy..this is OUR secret. I think it's so funny she doesn't want me to see her sitting on daddys lap snuggling. I guess somethings a girl just has to keep private.!

I met a 76 year old gentleman this week (through phone and computer) that had a sad experience. His ole "tom cat" as he refered to him was in his lap, stretched out like he always has, and just took his last breath. He told me he thought it had to be a heart attack. His cat was only 12. I don't know this man well and only know him through a deal we have been working on (I sold him a cub). I had called him at one point and didn't get an answer but he called back a couple of hours later and said he was having a pet funeral. I felt so bad and never even laid eyes on him.

I have since met him and he seems to be a very nice, southern gentleman. We had a nice talk this morning when he came to pick up the tractor. I again told him how sorry I was for his loss and will probably never see him again.

This is just something that happens to people all over, all of the time. I don't mean to depress anyone; I just thought it was an interesting yet sad story to pass along.

when Fuzzy and her siblings were kitlets, we had a real long skinny box, which I cut holes in so they could exit. She used to stick just her head out like the frogpbog game,... I wish we had a picture of that.
Has anyone looked at Maru on the internet? that cat is awesome.. http://www.wimp.com/marucompilation/
