Who was it literally bent the toe down on his lathe? Hit a rock or something, I think. I know Kraig was taking pics of it.

I couldn't get enough point myself, so I bought a new lathe (a full inch more toe than the one I took off!). I got a little divot in that new lathe when I found that rock! :-( Gadget

Gadget, I believe that it was Chris Engleking, or perhaps it was his brother.

Doug Eilken, driving Chris's 1450

Wyatt, you're not the one that has to go pick it up ;-)

Gadget, those were part of the limestone foundation from the old house or a building.

I know I didn't have a pictue of it but I bent the nose of my share down, I just bent it back up with my trusty oversized metric Crescent hammer when I went in for gas and it was all good.

Kraig-
Especially when it's my Cub! My 169's lived a rough life, I've beat the p!ss out of it. If the audio turns out clear enough on one of your shots my 169 was detonating about the last 25-30 yards. I heard it knock and I thought about backing off then I thought "OH heck yes, I'll blow this bad boy up on camera!!!" Didn't happen though, that motor's CUB TOUGH!!

Steve, Ah ha! I thought I heard someone say it was his brother..... Does Chris have a brother? And is it Engelking or Engleking?

Wyatt, was that during the parade round? I'll have to listen to the tape better next time. I did get a few people hitting that cross furrow at the end of the parade lap a tad to fast, including you.

FWIW 2 hours 10 minutes and a few seconds of video.

Doug Eilken
Chris Engelking

Chris does not have a brother, Doug does...Russ

Doug was a room mate and very good friend of mine in college........Chris "Bubba" and Russ started to come out to the farm with Doug during harvest, now the're out plowing up everything in site with Cubs!!!!!

Wyatt,

You were really going to intentionally blow up a 16hp Kohler?????? WHY??????

Steve, thanks, I'll eventually get my records straight.

Steve-Wyatt is starting to sound like John B. Any thing for the camera!

If anyone wants info on the 782D to be auctioned off which was posted earlier, I went and saw the machine and it looks good. Shows 411 hours on a rolling dial type meter. You can e-mail me for more details, but all I can tell you is what I saw and was told. I would be there Sunday, but have to make a trip to Pennsylvina, plus I just got a yellow and white 782.

Tedd, Thanks. But I don't need a short block. I need all the guts that are inside the engine. I need an entire engine. Any ideas?

Steve-
More power!

Kraig, it was earlier in the day, I think I stopped and talked to you about it.

Gene,
I'm sure that Travis or Don V. can set you up with anything you need. Both of them have taken very very good care of me and my engine needs.

Gene,

Travis sells long blocks, completely assembled, less the head and bolt on stuff.......I have one in my 169.

Frank M:

The MTD wiring harness for the 147 is a good match, the only difference is that they don't use cloth covered wire, other than that they are right. If you want to get it exact you can send it out to John Brillman or any of the wiring harness specialists that advertise in most of the tractor mags. It will cost more than the MTD one though and it will take some time to get a custom harness mase up.

Will this fit under the hood of a 682???

Fule injected, electronic ignition, O2 sensor..

Tedd,no problem fitting it in a 682. You need a CC style muffler however, they exhaust out the front, while many "off the shelf" Commands exit out the right side. I bet you'd love the sound of that big Command in it too!

You mean that you could exit out the right side like a diesel??? That would look nice, not stock, but nice.
