Steve Shaff,
What is the serial # of your 100?
The early ones do not have the notch in the clutch arm. Then it was put on the later ones so it would have more travel without hitting the steering column base...I have 2 that are like that and the clutch brake pedal travel is limited..

I was at the scrapyard last year and there were 4 128's with that type of pump on them...
They were for remote hydraulic outputs on the back fender pan of each one????

I think I know why the bucket is so BIG . You had the bucket made so you could run the dual wheels , I think you will need more ballast as I have 600 lbs on my loader and I have a much smaller bucket. That will make a good snow bucket. The loader looks great. Did you install power steering ??

Art

now my wife thinks that is cute, a fine lawn mower . she wants one

Are you going to keep it?

I just aquired a 682.144682399,k17s. Can anybody tell me what might allow oil to enter carbto filter hosing. It seems to be the original engine. It has 1600 hours if gauge works properly. I haven't tried to start it yet. It was my uncles until he passed, and I was told it was always serviced regularly.Unfortunately it has been sitting outside, uncovered for about two years. Any suggestions would be greatly appreceated. Thanks, BGebhardt

William G.-

The crankcase breather gases are routed into the air cleaner, so the engine probably has some blowby that's causing excessive oil to be blown into the air cleaner.

Andrew-

Your carb just needs a good cleaning and a kit. It might could use a soaking for an hour or so too; it sure wouldn't hurt anything. You might check your tank for rust as well. A rusty tank makes carb cleaning worthless. Also make sure you have a good fuel line. A semi-clogged line will do what you described.

CHARLIE - Art will probably need a Cheese Head Hat to complete THAT look.

STEVE S. - BOY, Not knowing how good the brakes were before makes it tougher to diagnose. The brakes on most CC's work thru the differential so if one rear wheel is on poor tractive conditions that wheel will lock and the other one spin.

I'd try to tighten or remove the adjusting screw & lock nut and see what kind of shape the threads are in. Since your getting some brake it only takes at MOST, another quarter turn of the adjusting screw to get good brakes. Since the pedal has full movement and the linkage hasn't been changed and your getting some brake it must be connected correctly.

After 45 yrs of use those pucks are probably worn and cracked which would reduce their effectiveness. I replaced the pucks in my CC 72 20 yrs ago and they came out in pieces but still worked "O-K". Not sure if my '65 vintage CC 70 has had pucks replaced EVER.

I just know that the poor little Cadet 60 is gonna end up painted pink with flower decals all over it...
