I went home during lunch today, had to throw a little paint on a bag toss game. After this I looked at the 1450 and thought hmmm let's look at this quickly.

Opening the gas tank I found empty and dry, I also found the hose to the carb was off the connector. Maybe its a lack of gas problem...? Of course my gas can is also empty.

Lifting the seat I found the battery to be from April 2016 however the connections were rather corroded, positive side was very corroded. I hooked up my charger and it seemed the battery was charged, connecting my volt meter confirmed this. When touching the positive cable I found it to be loose. I took both cables off and cleaned the connections, installed new bolts and turned the key and it turned over. My gas can is also empty so I took off the left side cover and took off the air cleaner cover. turned it over again while giving it a bit of carb cleaner and it started!

Once I figure out the gas part this 1450 might even run!

Vincent-

I told you it would be a very simple fix (sort of). I bet you have a nice unit ready for work with a couple of simple fixes.

I call these past owners "wonderfully weird" with their reasons for selling. It's a big plus for our hobby and can only encourage searching on.

Vincent-great find...your is going to be a much easier refeb than my 1450 has been LOL
