Making some room for winter storage. I made the loft earlier this summer. I still need to do some rearranging. It started raining so I was forced to stop and put things back in the garage. My plan is to have the two cars in one garage. The old Chevy goes where the H-D is and the Nissan will go where the old Chevy is now.

The ramp seemed to work pretty good.

Shultzie, nice. Why is there never enough space?

Shulzie,

Like your "Toy Box" sign

. Just how did you get that "O" to make the 90 degree turn at the top of the ramp?

David S. Not yet. Going to weigh all options. Do a LOT of praying and will appreciate all prayers from others.

Shultzie,

I'm sure ur one hell of a shelf/ramp builder,,, and I'm not doubting your carpentry skills whatsoever,,, but if I were fortunate enuff to own an old classic vette I damn sure wouldn't be Parking it underneath my tractor....

David S. My life/world lately is a lot like this song. I'm hoping to get the 782D running this weekend for Plow Day... But this song is me right now... Hank Snow

Shultzie-ditto on the garage space, got some seat time with 1450 doing some yard work with it last night...shaking out bugs,Marlin,my prayers and best hopes for you..you seem like a good dude

Here's my lunch time adventure yesterday. I got a deal on the brand new Tru Power rear tires and the 1450 came with them...as a bonus I got a rear lift and 1 year old V61 front tires! The Tru Powers still have the nubs on the tires.

He said he cleaned the carb this spring, then later this summer it would not start, he drained the battery turning it over. He thinks the problem might be the starter or the switch. I said I'd have fun figuring it out. I did not offer any advice like "The starter is good if it was turning over", I just handed him some cash and pushed it onto my dad's trailer and drove away. I'll look into it this weekend, or sooner if possible.

Mr. Thomley...you say he reworked the carb..and later..it wouldn't start???
Perhaps someone forgot to turn the fuel back on????
That would be waaaaaay to simple...

Vincent-

Nice find! I bet it's something ridiculously simple. I once bought a 1250 for a song because the owner didn't care to charge the battery every time he used it and a new battery cost too much.

.

Vince,
I saw that on Craigslist and thought about sending you an email. But then I thought...no that's even close to messed up enough for Vince to buy.

Vincent, if he rebuilt the carb and shortly thereafter suggested it "might" be the starter after draining the battery trying to start it, I'd definitely have a Good look at that carb, for starters...
