Todd,
You can put an extension rod on the one you have or just buy the longer lever from one of our sponsors.

Todd C,
Wide frame and narrow frame creepers are the same.
Like Kenny said, the handle is different.

Kenny W.
Great info thanks.
I was thinking about maybe using some anti-seize just in case I wanted/needed to remove it later on.
Anyone have any thoughts on that idea?

I don't think using never-seize would hurt. I use it on just about everything...except where I use Locktite......no problems with things coming loose on their own yet.

E-mails from [email protected]...

It appears that some folks are receiving bogus e-mails from [email protected] saying that their ihcubcadet.com e-mail address has been suspended and that the attachment has instructions on how to reactivate.

Of course, said attachment has a virus in it.

First, we do not have an [email protected] address. [email protected] is all we use.

Second, scrutiny of the headers reveals that the originator is NOT ihcubcadet.com:

The IP address in red belongs to natgi.com - their contact information, if it can be believed, shows that they're in Panama.

Digger- Thanks for the info.

I have checked the sponsers and don't see the longer handle available any more (was there a few weeks ago).

I have a question,
What would happen if I used a rag joint from a QL on the drive shaft of the 149?
QL on top and 149 on the bottom.

Digger- Thanks! I was just there looking again I must need new glasses

Charlie,

It'll work great! Did this to a friend's narrow frame and worked so well I plan to do it to my 107. Permanently eliminates pin replacements and the annoying rattle.

Charlie,

I use the rubber rag joints interchangeably, my 169 is running a full 1650 driveline, 149 has a QL rubber in it.....it'll be fine.

Steve, did Chris and Mike haul some parts from Travis for you? If so did you get a receipt from Travis like the one I got?)

Thanks Dave & Steve,
I've always wondered why the QL rag joints had a bigger hole in them and didn't know if it would make a big dif or not.
I just put one on the 149 and your right, it sure made a big improvement.
THANKS GUYS

Wild Bill, good point! Well, they were (e)mail order and out of state and I don't think Wisconsin has reciprocity with Iowa when it comes to taxes. Actually I think the fuel surcharge should go to M&C Transport (Mike and Chris) they delivered the "2 dry rotted cracked tires on rusty rotten rims".)

The guy in the Big Brown truck stopped by today to deliver this from Jerry B in Idaho.

Well it was wrapped up in some really nice landscape cloth,
31429.jpg

SOOOO, I figured what the heck! I'll just make good use of it and get rid of that nasty little strip of grass along the deck!

Thanks for both items Jerry!

Charlie-

Yeah neat head bolts.

Pretty common around here; they say "Rockford" because they're made here in Rockford, IL. My 125 has those too.
