That is Jim Spence on the tractor that Donnie brought home for him on the trip in Feb. when he drove the jeep with a trailer filled with tractors and parts. I believe he stayed at your place and hit a snow storm on the way home. Dawn

Frank, thanks for the info on who that is in the photo. As I posted regarding that photo back on Sept. 28, I thought that the person in the photo looked different than other photos I had seen of Don, but I recognized it as Don's driveway.

Did a little work on my 149 blade tractor. Had to do some carb adjustment on it. Trying to get things ready for winter. May have done my last mowing Monday. Used the 782and mainly threw dust and a few clippings. Depending what we get in the way of rain in the next few weeks I hope this was the last. Haven see any measureable rain since July.

Frank and I both mentioned how "Don" looked thinner in the pic. Neither of us knew him as being thin. Don was a big boy...and exactly my age.

This ole girl has been one lean mean grass cutting machine going on her 2nd full summer now. I think all I've done is clean the carb once in that time. This is the 149 I went through summer before last. I needed a dependable mower at the time so I did most everything but paint. I decided on using one of the 48" decks and I'm glad I did. One of these days I plan on giving her a grill of her own.
