Since the guy backed out on me yesterday, I have a fairly complete 14hp Kohler engine in my trunk for sale! It came out of a 147 or 149. I have had it running, but it does smoke. It needs a starter gen., carb, and a PTO clutch to be complete. It has been bored to .030 over. Might be able to get some years out of it if one puts rings in it. It sounded good when it ran, nno Kohler knock from what I could hear. Would like to get out of the trunk before I head home in two weeks. $150 obo. Please email (in profile) if you are interested. This is for a narrow frame tractor, but was installed on, and will work on, a wide frame but requires modification of the hood cross brace to clear the elec. motor (narrow frame motor stands up/vertical, wide frame motor lays down/horizontial).
