Glen-
Try a Hatz engine, very good engines. Stay away from Yanmars, the green guys love them but when I worked for THAT green company they even regarded them as junk.

Kraig/Kentuck - I had thought that the guy must have had too long a piece of rod so bent it, but he had the ball joint on the TOP of the link arm so probably that is the reason for the bend. I have (over the months) studied various pics on the forum & decided the ball joint goes on the bottom, so now I can make a straight rod.
A bit of paint sure makes a diff to impressions Kentuck. Ever touched up little nicks on a white car with liquid paper & see how more easily it sells!
Hey Kentuck, you tryin to spoil my kicks, those stickers are there to raise your ire!!!

Graeme - It's like someone else I know of that likes putting IH stickers everywhere ... a few more and you guys wouldn't need paint

With the tie rod connected under the arm on the spindle it'll hit the axle if the cap gets loose and rub the top of the axle like my 127 does. You mentioned that yours was getting sloppy didn't you ?

My axle pivot is getting loose enough to where the tie rod even hits the frame a little when the left wheel is pushing the axle up high like going through a ditch.

I believe my white Silverado has your liquid paper on it

Kentuck - Re tie rod/ball joint/spindle arm, so far that's OK but I'll keep watch on it, I'm not doing heavy work anyway.
Hey, how would it sit if I said 'Powered by Cousin of Toyota' ??

That'd be to long of a sticker. Just make this one "Underpowered"

Kentuck - Ugh.
Charlie, can I just slip this odd one in, spotted it in a country town about 3 hours away yesterday while on 2 nights R&R with the wife after about 2 weeks celebrating a big birthday. Contemplated rehitching it behind my Ford to bring home & modify for the CC102.

Street bike front / trail tires on the back / home-made cable dump ... you Aussies give a whole new meaning to the word V-HICK-EL.

Are they making Mad Max 3 ??

A 2 week birthday party ? Did anyone survive ? That's the pics I'd like to see !!!!!!

I recently purchased a sleeve hitch for my 147. How do I hook it up to the electric lift, and can I keep the electric lift hooked up to the mower deck at the same time as the hitch

?

Ken & Wyatt, those diesels do have a price. $ticker $hock.

Greg P.
You'll need a few parts is all.

And you can keep the deck and the rear lift hooked up at the same time.

I am familiar with Hatz diesels, and I speak German, so I can read the instructions

I have also heard Yanmar is a "Disposable Diesel", and that Deutz Allis is still German made. Cool, a turbo diesel bandsaw... where can one get one of those... metalwork made easy. I'm assuming that it was hydraulically driven... anyway off topic, sorry Charlie...
I also found an Allis Chalmers D10 muffler that is the oval body type, and fits the existin manifold on my cub... Now, I don't have to make my own.

well i`ll try that again lol, here is a product that i have found great in my 129 to help remove that bang when i shut here down after using my Cub. it clames to remove carbon and help valve wear. it does make my Cub run much smother with no bang lol Duralt.

I see that's an old bottle.
Have you checked the prices of that stuff lately?
And you guys thought Cermax was expensive!

Hi all, well the price did increase lol wow. my contaner is still half full and i should be good for awile. i will have to try cermax later it must be cheaper lol

I thought MMO was supposed to take care of carbon and valve wear also... at (it seems)a much lower price. Don, is that stuff like a fake lead additive?

Well i can`t believe that they want $345.00 for a 16 oz bottle! i does work well and i have ordered that other stuf (mmo) from Charlie. he likes me I bet another order lol. Thanks Guys i`am some glad this site is so helpfull to anyone that has a Cub .. later Don

Sorry Allen, yes i used it in my Norton 850 commando police Bike that i have and it did help a lot with starting (kick start only)and is a fuel additive for a motor designed for lead fuel like the Norton. later Don

Charlie, here's that 1250 I was telling you about, It came home with me today! Any input? I've never owned a quietline before.
