Ok Charlie - I give. It's been over 5 hours and no one posted about the pics you posted. Looks like some type of belt guard/cover (especially since the original is white). What is the darn thing?

I found this IH Cub Cadet 128 and tiller last fall:

This one had a 2 belt system to run tiller:

Owner said engine smoke bad the last time it was ran 4 years ago. I rebuilt the carb and check the valves. Found a small piece of dirt in the drain back hole in the breather area. Hasn't smoke or burn oil since. Air filter housing is installed now.
