I had the pleasure of meeting Myron at RPRU in 2009. I heard he was going to be there and I made sure I found him. Was a highlight of my trip. My condolences to his family.

Dang.....
Condolences

That's terrible news about the passing of Myron Bounds. I know he was an encyclopedia of cub cadet information.

I once went on another cub site and was insisting on the fact that something was one way and Myron came on and corrected me (this was years ago). I was really pissed but later realized he was right. I felt bad but got over it as I'm sure he did. Being a vet myself I knew he corrected me with a hint of military background too. The one thing I remember most was his last remark..."nuff said".

I never knew or met Sgt Bounds but I'm sure he was part of Americas best. And it's obvious he was a cub cadet enthusiast so we all have that to appreciate.

.

Myron was kind enough to supply me with a copy of some literature for my website. I never met him, but he was a true collector. He will be missed.

i never had the pleasure of corresponding with Myron Bounds but from what i see here, he will be greatly missed. and from a member of the Patriot Guard Riders of New York, i would like to thank him and his family for his service to our country...RIP sir and thank you.....

Lee, I would just replace the rubber ISO mounts on your 1200. I did have to do that to dad's 1450 and my 1200 to restore correct alignment. I suggest the cradle mod too. This could be where your problems are stemming from. My buddy and I had the same problem on a 1000 he had. ISO mounts were shot and broke a new clutch disc right away.
I didn't want the new rubber drive shaft discs to tear like the old ones on the 1450.

Wow... Myron will truly be missed by all her. His contributions were always thoughtful and concise. I always appreciated all his posts.

I hope his collection finds good hands.

RIP Myron... Thank you so much for your service to our country and to your service here.
