Awesome photos! A partially albino Robin. Never seen one before and you've seen two.

Amazing bird. And yesterday during rain showers I saw an Indigo Bunting. very beautiful and I think only the 2nd one I've ever seen.
Also I saw a male Oriole, Cardinal and grosbeak at one setting on same feeder.
No pics as I was worried I'd scare them away if I got close enough

Charlie, what GREAT pics of the kinda almino robin. Have you thought of maybe sending pics to the DNR or the Audobon Society? They might be able to tell you how rare this is. I would think both would appreciate this odd Robin.

We have Cardinals closer, since last years cutting of many mature trees across the road where they took out them out and put in oats. phooney on that. all I could think of at the time and still do...does anyone think about the habitat and of the countless creature beings in all forms who lose them home due to the encrouchment of we humans.? They really didnt need to take out aoo those tress, just to put in a field of oats, which serve no purpose. Anways, the robins are nesting in some of our tree's now and they share their calls all day long..

Took these this morning of a Goldfinch and an Indigo Bunting. It was overcast and a bit dark this morning. Photos taken through a glass door and a glass storm door, both in need of cleaning.

Back when Sandy was feeding birds all winter, we had an albino Cardinal every winter for about 7 years...

that indigo is cool, my wife thinks she saw one of those the other day.

thanks guys for the pics of the winged ones. Its so great to have others sharing what is in their world. We can appreciate if not experience personally the beauty of nature, in all forms

Twelve miles away is a small fishing town called Lunenburg. here is a picture from the dock .

Now THAT....would make an awesome 1000 piece picture puzzle!! Bet Ya could spend a few cold winter nights on that one for sure!! And...don't forget the popcorn and beer!

Kraig , David

That is the home of the sailing ship , The Bluenose and that is her spar you see in that picture. In Lunenburg Harbour Nova Scotia . One of the red buildings contain the fisheries museum where there are live fish in tanks and old fishing gear : long lines and many diagrams of how the net and ships were used to catch fish.

Don that's a beautiful pic, going to lunenburg is on my bucket list, maybe I will find a cub down there someday.

There are 14 Cubs in Hebbs Cross about twenty minute drive from Lunenburg.

Got hammered with hail. Found some nearly 2".
Lots of damage to the house, garage, camper, van,car....and my pet tomato plant.
It rattled my camper so much that the speaker grills came off inside.

Freaking flying ice cubes!

Time to change my signature??

Rick: Sorry to hear about the damage to your vehicles. I know that the damage one of my vehicles suffered from hail cleared up after about a year or so, the dents, I mean; the glass had to be replaced.
