Doug,

I see the YouTube video is from Doug's Stuff.

Is that your video? Grandson?

Harry, This tractor had the spiroll pin broken and the axle pin was loose as a goose in the axle. Only thing that kept It from falling out was the oil pan in back, the grove in the pin and the sharp worn edge of the bushing on the front and the weight of the tractor.!! probably had not seen a grease gun since 1966!!

David S - ok, got it. You are gonna have to get the welder warmed up. I don't think the rear bushing is a press fit. I don't know what "spun welded" is, but when you remove the pin and axle you'll be able to see the inside of the axle channel and see how it's done.

Amy - button button, whose got the button.

Brian E - We want pics! We want pics! We want pics!

I REALLY want to keep the music player charged up whilst I mow for hours on end

I've found the pop out elements online (which I dont need) but I haven't found a single receiver... For the $4-$5 they originally cost I'm surprised there aren't more out there

Love the video Doug B, that's the way to spread yellow fever, obviously your hydro linkage must be a lot tighten than mine, I cannot get my tractor to hold a consistent speed at all,

Harry B/ David S, those bushing are very welded in place. The best way I can explain it is they are almost spot welded from inside the bushing to the frame. They are hard enough that you can drill them out. As a recall I ended up doing a lot of grinding to get them flush with the frame, and then used a large punch, to break the rest of the weld off. It was much more of a challenge than I had planned for when I started.

Joel Goodine

on the bottom of the rod where it sits on the frame is a friction plate that can be tightened so your hydro lever stays where it is placed by the operator. On top is your hydro handle , follow that to the bottom and you should see a screw that will adjust the tension. I can post picture because this confuser does not see my camera gggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrr.

IH-680521-R1 Bushing , Friction , number 21 in the picture. the screw to tighten the tension is in number 16

Don T and Joel G - oh boy, here we go. Don T posted a pic from the parts section. If you have the "old style" shown in the small block upper left of the parts pic section, please please please do "not" tighten the little bolt and nut that goes thru part No. 16. That part No. 16 is a cast clamp and I don't know why IH thought they could put tension on a cast clamp with a little bolt. The dang No. 16 clamp will just snap in half. You can't order those parts any longer or at least not No. 16. IH made an engineering update to the style shown in the rest of the parts pic. Much much better design. If you have the updated style then I believe you can tighten a large bolt on the bottom to add tension on the lever.

Brian E - ok, at least you tried. I'm guessing you have to resize your pics to 50KB or less.
