Earl-Your in Illinois according to your profile that's about a three to four day drive from Rhode Island,I might consider taking some vacation time to drive out there and follow you around and grab what every falls off your truck LOL

Yep, I go around northern IL and southern WI to find my collection. 1200 came from Charlie years ago. I met him in Iowa at a plow day to buy it!
I was thinking more of you searching for tractor shows and swap meets by you to find the particular cubs you want.
Not that I'm discouraging you from visiting the Midwest, but it's just another idea to help you find them. If you come across another model of cub, say a 1250, you could always change the engine eventually and have a 1650. Won't be correct from the factory, but I'm considering that on my 1450 roller. Except my k-341aqs(16hp) has the wrong crankshaft. So who knows!

p.s. I don't have anyone to tell me stop my collection!

Earl-great advise,I read you guys talking about plow events and tractor meets,we have county fairs and what not,but the mostly race and pull with there tractors and I don't think I've seen an IH built cub participate in either of those it's always modern garden tractors and full size farmalls and john deers.I guess my point is we need more cub cadet events in New England

Ethan...
3 to 4 DAYS!!! Well, maybe, if you go by way of Tallahassee and New Orleans!!
Well,,,maybe so if you go by way of Tallahassee!!

Geesh, I'm glad no one told my boss that when I first started driving truck out that way back in '66!

David S- LOL I was figurin on some cub cadet scrounging time on way out west in my plan hense the three or four days lol

Dave, hey. Got to consider all the stops looking at IH Cub Cadets for sale man!
Hopefully Ethan is driving an empty 18 wheeler at the same time!! How many can you fit in the trailer?!

It does seem the north east has fewer farm show type events. It wasn't until last couple years that my collection started to flourish. I had basically just the 1200 for like 8 years. Ethan keep the PA plow day in mind!

Quiet lines do have a nice look about them, Dave S. Can you post a pic of your great looking 1200?

Ethan go to the plow day and tractor show on the main topics page
Edit:
Search through the old postings too, you may find others you can keep an eye out for. I forget who actually holds the event

Earl-Watsontown Pa that's not that far from me about a seven hour trip maybe a "drag the camper trip"

Marty G. And another 124 will be brought back to life thanks to you. Good score.

Marlin-I wish that deal in South Carolina had worked out if you recall.I had a friend of of friend in Tennessee all lined up to except the delivery but he need time which wasn't on my side if you recall again

I may put a 3 point on my 100 this spring and take the blade off. I have a creeper to put on it too, but I need to go through the creeper first, same situation for the 1200. I can't say in good conscience that I have nothing to do!!

Speaking of farm show type events, I have just learned there will be no more "Show Guide" supplements to the Lawn & Garden Tractor magazine.
I rec'd the latest issue, March & April, a couple weeks ago and there was no guide, so I emailed them yesterday asking why.

Seems they have had a rowe w/their printer and it was not included w/the last issue though they claimed it had been. They(LG&TM) have since had some printed and are making them available to those subscribers who ask for one. But they will no longer be offered w/a subscription, or so they informed me in an e-mail response. They also inquired as to whether I would re-up the subscription seeing as to how they were not offering the show guide in the future, Well, the jury is out on that for now, waiting to see just how much Cub stuff they do or do not include in the next few issues.

Bummer, that was the main reason I subscribed to their mag.

I have a question about a Cub Cadet 70. I have a Square 38" timed mowing deck. I figured i would ask rather than order parts. The part number i am coming up with for the PTO to deck belt ( Drive belt ) is 464-362-R1 which is 1/2 X 30 I believe this is correct?

So Dave, I could have possibly 10 in a 48 foot van trailer?! Now that's crazy!

Daniel Z. I didn't know an Originals timed deck would fit on a 70, hopefully those who know will chime in, but looking on cubfaq it does appear you are correct.

This makes me so glad I got an actual IH front blade! Putting it on for the pic I forgot how bent the Wheel Horse blade attaching frame got from that Boulder!
