I know you won't see this until tomorrow night.

BUT, is it time to post the pic I have of you down in Iowa? Or should we just let sleepin dogs lie!

Charlie:
You into rebuilding 'em now?? (or just found the mother lode...)

Matt:
I guess we got about 4" total, they say 3 inches in 3 hours during the peak activity. I thought you were in Miami.....

Charlie - Wow, with that kind of volume, I'd better buy pretty soon - you'll be wealthy enough to retire & I may not find another source so nearby.

Art, you are probably right, I just never had any use for phonetics.

Ken Weaver, I can't believe you married a McBee. Tried to send you a private message it didn't work.

Gonna have to see if Charlie has any parts left next week, I took a 1650 a part a year ago and haven't done anything with it and have since bought an IH 682 with an 16hp Kohler that needs a few things. I don't seem to miss the other couple of horse power it is suppose to have.

What is it going to take to keep Ken wound up? Should someone accuse him of breaking out the JB-WELD?

Kendell - I forget where Matt is but he's not to far to the east of you no further south than the Space Coast.

Lip - You don't have to worry about Charlie running out of electric lifts , he's got a sweat shop running in the back 40 churning them out.

I've been trying (everytime I talk to him) to get him to shut down and get some well deserved rest but he wont listen to me ... you know how he is. I guess he's waiting for a heart attack to tell him !

Carl - My email works. Instant message ... what's that ?

JB - Let dawgs lie. A guy on the lake ruffed my feathers Monday and I had to get the 45 out of storage on the boat.

If charlie's got a sweat shop going? Whats he useing for labore, Canadians?

Here's one of Charlie's elves, and I bet you all thought that these were just key fobs...

lucas:

is that collar being missing most of my clutch problem? if so, how hard are they to find or does it not really matter to have one?

Justin Hokinson
I don`t think IH put any parts on there tractors that you don`t need in a Clutch drive.

Dave Ross

Not to sound like the grump lol. but the metal the Canadians got this year was well earnt . both did a great job. Someone has to come up short

Justin, it certainly does not help that the bearing locking collar is missing. They should be available at better hardware stores and/or Fleet Farm or Tractor Supply or your best bet, at the forum sponsors above. The problem could be with the bushing not being properly lubricated see the cut away drawing that I posted the other day and my explanation on how to lubricate it. Also check the rag joint, which is on the other end of the drive shaft, where it attaches to the transmission. Make sure it is in good condition and not tearing or breaking apart. Might not hurt to put that in neutral with the engine running and CAREFULLY observe the drive shaft as it rotates. If it is all wobbly then that would be a problem.

just picked up my newset addition. Its a 149 (not really==it has a 301 in it)with hydraulic lift and 44 inch deck. and all it needed was a coil and battery and she roared to life after sitting 5 years heres a few pics,
