Don....thats just not right ! How da hell they gonna figure tax on that. 11 hours drivin in crap like that is tax enough and they want to bend you over to come home. I'm sure glad I don't get taxed when I go on a scavenger hunt. Well.........not till the wife sees it anyhow

Bren,

Alls ya gotta do to "justify" bringing home another tractor, is to tell your wife that it will make it easier to keep up your place. When I bring home an attachment or another tractor, I tell my wife that it will make taking care of her horses easier.

Cause and effect, more seat time for me! Plus bringing home another tractor gives my step-daughter something to run.

KEN: We may be crazy but we sure have fun being that way!!!!!!!!!
clappy.gif

By the way how much scrap did you haul away?
Talk about Yellow Fever.

Jim - Just where do you get this we at ? You stayed home where it was nice and warm and the beer was cold while Don and his other buddy were out in the freezing cold dodging crazy New England drivers and state troopers.

I think you owe Don several steak dinners and some good imported Kentucky Burbon for that trip.

You better give that 125 a good home after all the traveling shes had to do. Not to mention all that snow that got blown up her skirt riding on that cold cold trailer !

I don't know how much weight of scrap I got rid of but it was 2 truck loads and a 16 foot trailer load. More bulk than weight.

KEN: Don't worry about Don getting steak dinners I had already planned for that. As for the 125, you can count on it having a good home, nice long driveway to plow and 5 acres to play on in the summer.
We might have to sub the Bourbon for Scotch I think Don brought a bottle home from down your way so I guess it's still imported.

We finally got some nice deep snow to play in!!

I had only made 3 passes and the 1450 starting chugging and sputtering and finally died. I went home (only 4 miles away) and came back around 8:30 for work and put in a new spark plug and tried cranking with the plug grounded and there is no spark. I guess the coil went south.

I came in to work at 5:30 this morning to move snow before the rest of the office staff came in. We got 8"+ of snow where I live and at work. Just 10 miles northwest of town got nothing. Really strange how the snow fell around us last night. 5 miles south of downtown had 1".

Hey Jerry B! The boys have got to be loving this snow, huh? Good talking to you the other night. I'll catch up with you about the tank when the weather clears up. This will probably all be gone by Saturday.

Pulled the engine from the 100 Sunday in 60* temps and today 8" of snow... Missouri weather?!?!?!?

Anyway, I tore down the 100's carb and I'll need to bush the throttle shaft. It's all soaking in the carb cleaner bucket for now.

Great, now I've got 2 tractors that aren't running...

Keith, use that "....2 tractors that aren't running...." to your advantage, you need more Cub Cadets!
buttrock.gif

I've got 4 that aren't running, 9 if I count the parts tractors....

Keith - You got a made up adjustable drag link for a lift rod on the blade ?

I remember when Kraig only had one or two cubs and didn't know where his next one was coming from , now he's got more than he can work on ...

You know sometimes it's hard to tell the sex of these cubs but it seems that if there's at least 2 or 3 sitting alone in the shed somehow they multiply.

Jim - If it's scotch it didn't come from down my way. Once you cross the Ohio River it's Burbon ! Scotch must be a yankee version of Kool-Aide
biggrin.gif

If it crossed at least one state line then it's Imported
beer2.gif

I drink imported Pepsi ... it crosses 2 county lines

Hopefully I'll have a second Cub running before summer.

KENtucky, you didn't know me when I had one Cub Cadet, that was before 1993. I had two when I first posted to this forum in 1998.

KENtucky, OK, I'll give you that. Smart man covering your bases like that....

BTW, back when I only had one I had more then I could work on.... I've learned a LOT since then.
