A drop of 2 degrees in a hour, not to bad.
Since I'm the only one up, I think I'll just go to bed and hope it hits 70+ by morning.

Geez, Charlie. We'd send some warmer air up your way only there isn't any here either. It was my only day off yesterday and at -7* there was no way I was going to try and move snow.

(Where's all those hot winded politicians when you need them.

We are not that cold here but are having to much change in temp.Low teens to 70 every 3 to 4 days. Maple trees are buding and tulips coming up. Charlie you are just tougher than me.

I guess we should all be USE to this insanely cold winter? not. This morning we had a low of 14 BELOW with feels like 20 below? do we reallly need to know what it feels like? specially when it is colder then actual temp. Think we could do without all that nonsense. LIke heat index in the summer.. we know its HOT then and COLD now.!we did get about 4-5" of new snow on saturday. Freshened things up again..

thunkin we should give up on spring arriving early. I dont think its gonna happen.

Did read that extreme flucuation in temps can actually cause strokes. Well geez, what are we suppose to do about thatkind of scarey, since our weather is extremes anymore.

Cath

Cath, I agree with you. When it is cold it is cold and when it is hot it is hot. When it is 105 here don't need to tell me it feels like 112, I know it is hot and take precautions - same goes for cold. I can't believe last two weekends I was mowing and today it was 17 degrees (not cold by most standards) but it is cold here with ice and that always means problems. End of week it is suppose to be back in low 70's. What a fluctuation. Anyway, I think everyone is ready for spring of some sort.

MORE SNOW!!!! Another 2-3 inches plus what we got yesterday!! Geeesh....ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!

Guess I'll have to write another letter to our Mother N.....Hmmmmm....lets see...
Dear Mom, Seeing as how you didn't get or read my last letter, how about if, in addition to what I promised in it, I'll let your dang dandelions grow this year?....maybe start a compost pile??...ummmm...only weed the garden once or twice?....mow the grass a little longer maybe? OK, I give up...What's it gonna take here???

OK...OK!!! I promise NOT to OGLE Ginger Zee on ABC (gee..that kinda has a ring to it huh?) every morning at 7AM...but That's where I draw the line??

Signed...

Dave,
Well I'll just have to one up you. Ginger "Z" was our local NBC weather gal for years. Ginger was replaced by Cheryl Scott. Not too bad to look at either.

Allen,
FWIT right now it's sunny and about 47-48 and I'm loving it! Spending the day outside doing something, and maybe nothing. I's REALLY tired of being in the house.
Keep a eye out for misc. parts I found in the garege under some of my shi.... ahhh, stuff.

Tom, I understand your statement...I feel like the end of the journey on Noahs' Ark. Finally I can see real dirt again ! The outside cats are thrilled also.
