You still don't know how bad that tore me up watching two roundies leave my property! They come in, they don't leave!!

I have a 1968 IH Cadet Model 105 Hydrostatic with 10 HP Kohler. I seem to have an issue with the transmission. When I am mowing up a hill then transmission slowly decreases in speed and eventually stops. At this time my tranny lever locks and is not moveable. If I press the brake hard and rock the mower back and forth the tranny will disengage from the locked state and allow me to place go forward once again. I took the fenders and seat off yesterday and the relief valves are not leaking. Anyone have any thoughts.

Terry, I think you have developed a very severe case of Yellow and White fever... As Hydro Harry once said (I forget the exact quote but it's sometime like this) there is no cure, only temporary relief when finding more yellow and white.

Eric P., hopefully someone will verify that 67 ft lbs of torque for the hydro motor swash plate...

Nice score on the pair Terry,Do you have a deck for them?
They make great mowing tractors for small lots.

Picture time.
I don't wanna get flack for not posting a 169 picture to the main forum.

Here's a bonus since I don't post many pics. My 169 and "148" plow tractor resting in the shade.
The "148" is stripped of all extra stuff and has quite a few "tweaks" to make it stronger and more reliable.
It's the one constant in my fleet. The 169 is the beginning of a new relationship. It's a keeper.

Rick Beem: Sucks to be us, don't it? I've seen neg's and pos's about starting that thread in the first place. It's still here, so I guess we can still keep using it. Whatever.

Hey guys - thanks for the nice feedback on my new toys. I do have good 38 in decks for both of them but no mowing yet. Trying to finish an Original and 122 before I tackle them but looking forward to getting on em. I'll post more pics soon. Thanks again. BTW - I love those round fenders but I am partial to the 122. Gonna be a good worker with creeper and all.

Morning all. I know how much we all like pics so thought I would throw one on here. It's my 71 with a utility box. I haven't started working on it yet and the rest of the box is on the shelf but I really like the lines of this tractor. Probably my personal favorite of all the Cubs.

I missed another great Cub photo op yesterday.. The 129 AGAIN pulling the (OT) Scag outa the part of my front lawn that's still too soft to mow (Thought of you Don Tanner as I was sliding sideways into the muck..)

Anybody have a picture of a e-z vac hooked to a 1x8,9 wide frame?
It appears that I will have to shim some parts unless I am doing it wrong.I was looking for a manual but am coming up with nothing.

Looking for a drive shaft for a 1x6/7 series w/ metal fan and shroud at Red Power Round Up tomorrow- is it safe to say if I find one that looks like what I am looking for it should fit? Or are there different shaft lengths used in different series of Narrow frame hydrostats? Thanks

DAN - Charlie posted a chart of ALL the older model CC drive shaft lengths on JUNE 11 @ 11:42 AM. Many are the same but some are different.
