Wayne S. Yes, you could "crack" the check valves open with a wrench just a little only then you want to make sure the area around is totally clean of any debris. As long as there is enough open area so that the valves can't be allowed to build pressure.
I did all the trimming and was going to mow some lawns today only even with a strong breeze it is just too hot out there. Even Fancy wants to stay in and enjoy the air conditioning.
