Kraig McConaughey "Keeper of the Photos"

I know all about small noises . We have two shitzue dogs. They can be asleep on my lap and if I say lets go to bed , they get up and jump down so they can follow me.Some times we know our pets arn`t quite so dumb lol. ,,,, A pet will never disappoint it`s master. My last cat was willing to lay till a car got him.I will never forget him and the nite I lost him to a front tire on a car.If your pet disappoints you he will show it to you. I`am so proud to known these great pets!

Tiger made some of the wierdest noises at night, and sometimes during the day. I would swear she was trying to talk. Also, she would be laying and we could say "Tiger" and she would say "Huh!"

Donald,
Sorry to hear of your loss, I lost a dog one time like that.

I happened to catch this one the other day.

Kraig, lol on your kittie's voice overs.!! I would love to hear how Selah sounds. Does he try to mimic the birds by any chance? kind of squeking? something tells me he does. And Tots with her Tribble impersonation, that has to be a riot to listen to. ((giggles)).

Marty, thats cool on Tiger saying HUH? I do believe they do talk, in their own form or communication and in our language as well.

Don T..sorry about you losing your kitty. I know all of us here who have lost our furkids can understand your pain, part of it never leaves..oh yes, the puppies are very wise, as well as the kitties too.! Mans best friend, as they saw with Dogs, yet I believe that kitties rank up there too but some people don't think cats are smart like dogs, but be around them and one learns differently..giggles. Our kitties are so loving and not at all elusive We've raised them, talking to them with our language, and in sentences as though they understand and they do.I dont tolerate fighting or bullying and at times little Annie likes to throw her weight around but she knows what the word STOP means. Good grief I've said it enough times to her. Now when I say it, what ever she is doing, she'll stop and walk away. lol. I'll say something to them and then when they respond to that, at times I am really shocked, but then again not at all, because that's the way theyve been raised.

I know our kitties blurt out human words. At times we think we are heaing things, but then again, when they repeat it again and again so clearly, we know we aren't hearing things, and even more so, when we both hear it. lol..Fancy says has his little list of words that he says clearly..not trying to make a word out of a muble but actually can hear the words. OUT is very clear when he wants to go outside. Infact it can be very annoying, just ask his daddy Marlin. hehehe. Also he says MOM. That was a shocker the first time I heard that., but yeppers, when he wants me, he will say Mom very clearly. You can ask him a question and he will softly answer yeah or no, depending on the answer..please is on his list too. Tootsie says hellLLOOO emphasising the eelllOOO part, in a happy tone, also have heard her say pease for please. lol. Stinker and Hannah both say HI very clearly, but usually Hannah says it more in a whisper. Stinker always says wuv u..for love you and and both girls have said yeah and no when one asks them a question as well. Also I have heard Stinker say I dont know.. clearly enough to understand it..and oww and she also chitters like the birds, and sometimes she does a really good job. Annie doesnt really say anything clearly yet. seems like there is more but can't think of them right now.

Now, onto something that blew my mind one morning. Marlin gave Tootise some treats on the kitchen counter one morning. He just kind of tossed them on the counter. He went to get a drink of water and when he went back to her..this is what he found..looks kind of like the number 8 doesn't it?

242099.jpg

he called me into the kitchen and said look at what Tootsie just did. I said, no way, and I thought for sure he was joking with me, but he said, honest, he did not do it,and she arranged them like that and I could tell he wasn't fibbing me..I can tell when he is..so what do you think of that. When I asked Toots how she did that, she just looked at me, like , you think I'm gonna tell you?

have a good one.

No Miss Kitty (yet?). We just bought a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4x4 from a friend that I graduated with 45 years ago. I told him about Miss Kitty and he told me about the sameish situation that happened to him - kitten came kitten left. However, his came back a couple months later, pregnant, of course. They had her for 20 years after that!
For now, I'll borrow from Facebook:

Here is Peanut, she was a stray that we found a few years back. She must have been only 6 to 8 months old then. She was very hungry and happy to be in the house. She has just one problem, she does not know she is a cat. When she came home, we had Husky and Lab in the house. She just came in, said Hello Boys! I am here to stay! She never hissed or hid from them at all. She loves to be Momma when she can, she will try to "clean" the dogs when they permit it. And I am pretty sure she likes the 1250.

Jeff, Zoe is a cute little petite girl and what a cute pic of miss brooklyn taking time to smell the roses, urr, well flowers.!! nuttin is cuter then a kitty and puppy pal.

Well Frank,I'm still keeping the faith on Miss Kitty finding her way back to you..but I know how badly you miss her, and our furkids send out some hugs to `ya.

Paul, Peanut looks very content on that cub.

Happy to hear she came in and took ownership of the house and the dogs..hehehe.

I know our Fancy acts more like a dog then a cat. With wanting to go for truck rides to look for bunnies( so he must be part beagle or something) to spending time working side by side with his dad on the cubbies but he won't play fetch..or bark, but that constant OUT OUT..at the door does get irritating as he won't hush up when you tell him to. He'll be best friends with anyone who shows up interested in cubbies or comes with a cubbie, but if you are anyone else, not so much
aaaa_tongue2.gif
, 'cept the neighbors, he's learned to be a good neighbor!!
