Geez, it's Off Topic Friday and there aren't any off topic posts !!!! What's going on out there???

I suppose Wayne stopped to get some "really special" ice tea after getting paid for all his work on the 128.

Ahhhh....the smell of fresh new tires!

Hydro-

As a matter of fact we stopped by Anna Belle Clarks (ABC) house on the way back and yep, we got some "really special" beverages.

Darrell seemed pleased. He's apparently not a man of many words plus I threw a spl of things at him that were done to his 128. The 95+* temps made things just that much more pleasant. His head has probably stopped spinning by now. I did get to see the '66 Ford Galaxy again (which hasn't sold yet) plus the fully restored '64 F-100 in which he dated his wife. I need to get a video camera and make a video of his place. It's like a little museum and he's a Ford man as I have been all of my life. He has two tires from Nascar used by his man Bill Elliot (awesome Bill from Dawsonville).

Darrell has a 7 stall garage on the back side of his property which houses this "little museum" I speak of. A small building placed on the end of the garage is used for wood working only. One of his hobbies is fixing up old horse drawn wagons. He even has a wagon used on the TV show Hee Haw that he has since restored.

Marty G. I may be looking into the hi temp Locktite stuff. Both sets of threads are pretty weak.

David S. I have a tap and tried that. Thank You for your offer. I did gain about half a thread.

My next step is to find that box of free extra parts I got along with a parts 102 four years ago. I can't remember if i saw one in there or not. I know I had one years ago. Almost new at the time.

Kirk L. Very nice.

I admit I haven't opened very many motors up, but does anybody know what this means?

There was some talk a short while back about a hole cover/plug over the timing hole.
There is one on my 100.
