Ok, quick question on front tires.

What is the original size for a 127?

Mine came with a mix match set on the front. One was 16x6.5-8 and the other side was 15x6-6.

I have a few extras of both sizes that came with the tractor so I just need to figure out which is "right".

None of our Cubs came with 6" front wheels or tires. They are all 8's.

Head over to the manuals section and you can download the manual that will give you all the specs.

Or click the parts lookup button above and find the info.

Thanks Charlie.

The 6" looked awfully small. I got lots of literature with the 127, just need to read through it I guess.

I just picked up an extra 42" bare deck. Might get it blasted and painted then install the pieces from the 42" that is on my 149. Current deck is nice, but wanted to freshen the paint up anyway. This will save downtime.

147 Electric lift questions:
#1 What kind of pin/bolt is used to attach the lift assy to the frame bracket?
I am assuming here it should be a 3/4" clevis pin of sorts?
The PO used a 3/4" bolt that chewed up the bronze bushing.
I have it reassembled, waiting on paint.

#2 Does the translating tube remain unpainted?
Mine is pitted in a few places, thinking about replacing it.

Charlie...Look for an order today!!

A little work this morning on the 1250. Went to blow snow and engine started running rough. Bolt holding to condenser came loose. There's an angle bracket on the AQS that bolts to the head. The coil bracket bolt threads into that. The bracket broke. Had to make a new one.

If your mounting bracket doesn't have a pin already in it, your going to have to go the hitch pin route.

Leave the tube unpainted.
If the pits are deep, any GOOD 2 part expoxy will fix the pits.
Gob it in the pits, sand lightly with 220 grit close to flush, then sand with 600 or 800 grit to finish.
It will be good enough to hold a seal with the grease inside with no problem.

Back on January 4th I posted that I thought the battery in my #2 125 may have froze back in December during some sub-zero weather. I borrowed a battery load tester from a friend and sure enough bad battery. My charger shows it as having a full charge but the loader tester pegs the needle as bad.

On a positive note, (no pun intended) it's better than a bad Starter/Generator.

Thanks Charlie,
I picked up a chunk of 1-1/4" OD bushing stock today while in town and will have it opened up a little on each end to accept the lifting nut and slip clutch. The wall thickness is a little on the "too thick" side as is.

I'll have to dig into my storage trailer and see what the deal is on the 147 lift support bracket.

This is what I was trying to find Charlie. It took me a few days but finally found it..
