Glen C.,

What is that red thing on the backside of your Cubs seat, towards the top,,,is it a third tail light, a reflector, or ???

Is your Cub a 1450? -- Sure is a good-looking rig!

Bob,
From memory it seems like the most noise from the clutch area were from the pedal rattling when the return spring was broken and from the throwout bearing. You might have to look at the whole thing while you are in there, the manual and the FAQs cover a lot.

And yes, I trying to agree with Ken just to get on his Grump side.

Trevor - yes tubes are better than not. I have a pic of my home-made tractor that had calcium filled tires and you don't want your wheels lookin like that one ! Depending on what the temps may get down to IF winter ever sets in, I'd go with the RV antifreeze. The pink stuff that isn't harmful to the critters!

Here ya go - and it still held air and I was using it !

Ryan, That is an orangeish red decal that is from the factory telling you to make sure that the seat is actually attached to the tractor, and it is a 149, I 'm in the process of restoring it, I'll put on the decals this spring, when the weathers stable.

Any opinions on a 1282 tractor?Found one at a local flea market;decent shape with a good mowing deck.Is it comparable to a 1250,which I'm told is a decent mowing tractor but that's about it all it's good for?Talk amongst yourselves and let me know! Thanks,Bowman"ski".

Jerry, get out the skates, and have fun, or you could put a nice thick layer of rock salt on your driveway, unless it is concrete, concrete dont like salt too much...

Hey, did IH make sweepsters for wide frames, or was it a chain sweeper?
