Ok, I'll throw something out there for all you experts that are wondering why it's so dead today and need something to do. I'm curious as to the reason for the second small hole in this sleeve hitch pin. I'd guess it is to make it longer for additional lift but it seems to close to the end of the pin to work that way.

This pic is off the web, but mine is similar.

Shane...Nope....Multi-purpose design. Its because the Originals used that rear pin hole and later models (using the same lift pin) used the outer hole IIRC. Remember, though you could order them from IH/CubCadet, IH did not manufacture or supply all these. They came with the equipment from the manufacturer, whether IH, Brinly, Haban, or other, etc. Check'em out in CPE-2...

What's the best/easiest way to put new decals on my 149???

Glenn,
Spray a fine mist of window cleaner onto the tractor. This will allow you to position the decal. Once it's in place use a squeege to remove the window cleaner from behind the decal. It will stick exactly to where you positioned it.

Michael R,
Any Briggs vertical shaft single should fit in a 382.

Wasn't me, either. I'm in sunny (but chilly!) Destin, FL...

Bryan M,.you are about 120 miles south of Dothan,Al.Wave when you fly over.I'm the one with all the Cub Cadets in his backyard!

We got an offer on our house, and they asked that a tractor and plow be included...I just filled out paperwork to let my 582, 50" deck, IH 3pt, plow and brinly adapter go...that would leave me with only the 70, 71, 72, 73, 1204 & 1872 (damn hydros)...and Cyrus has a cadet mower.

I took the idler arm and pulley assembly off of my 44A deck to my 1250. I broke the bolt off that holds it to the deck. I then tried to get the bearing out of the pulley and ended up smashing it inside the pulley. Does anyone have some suggestions on what I need to do?

Bryan,

Give a wave to my sister. She lives in SanDestin, across from the camping place that is just west of the Hilton complex on Hwy 98

T L Paynes:
1: Next time use Gibbs, PB Blaster or maybe Coca-Cola to loosen things up
2: Smaller wrenches
3: Smaller hammers
4: Slow down........

Finally got some snow in the "Heart O' Michigan"...
Due to the amount, I've had to come up with a different attachment for moving it..

Note the special storage parking feature of this attachment.

(I bore people at work continuously about Cubs..).
By the way - I showed the 129 the pic of the 169 - told it that's what it woulda been if it hadn't been hiding behind the door
when the engines were passed out..

Grump:
Please note - no JB Weld was used in building that fine attachment.....

Geez - this place turning into one of those vanity posting sites?? If one posts in an unread forum, is there a sound in the forest?? Hello-Hello--Hello Digger - where are ya??? Is anybody home???

Kendell - I bet those magnets could use JB though if they're like the pair I have. They are anything but parallel when on their edge. (get what ya pay for or what the blood sucking profit barrons want to stock in their stores... see other postings elsewhere)

Bryan -- JD needs a cub hauled up from FL. Since you're in the neighborhood ...

I finally got caught up on 3 days of no sleep ... I got 4 hrs sleep before my little sis called. I'm gonna have to have a long talk with that girl one of these days! She lives in NW Indiana and wasn't to pleased to hear that I had snow yesterday.

Ken - would you believe I had 'em surface ground after I brought 'em home from the chinastore??

Charley - Sorry - just bored tonight - my wife reminded me everyone was probably watching ol' 43 on the tube.....

Kendell - did you use an off shore surface grinder ? Mine aren't even worth the wear of a surface wheel.
What ever happened to the commercials about wally world selling USA made products? I can't find any in the store now. Hell even the local Kubota dealer sells china parts on his shelves, the same exact parts I see at the flea markets ! oops I'm spilling over from another area ...
I'll beat ya to it Charlie ;)
