Rick,
I was thining when the PO of the 169* remover the hour meter maybe he didn't rewire this back in?? Glad to see it going to a good home to someone who has talent with the welder.
I stopped at the McDonalds on 20 on the way home to check out some emails and came across a nice little 102. It was a block off of 20 so I had to bring it home.

Tom was that the winnabago Mcdonalds, you went right by my place, you should of stopped in to see my herd and 169

I would of made coffee

I am number 12 on the list

Heck, I'm not going to tell you where I am on the list. It's to hard to count. What I will tell you is that my number is 4 less than my Son's. AND I'm also gonna tell you that I thought ole Tom H had swiped mine and had to check the garage to see for certain. Rick's got the unit now and sounds like she'll be a great one. Rick - did ya notice if you're a little dyslexic you can transpose your last 3 numbers into my 3 numbers.
And another thing - transfering the tag is ok with me (the police will never know

) and none of us will ever tell.

Mike - don't worry, I'm not gonna tell you when I'm in your area again. Question tho, does the snow block your garage door from opening?

It's not the snow that stops the door from opening. It's the Dutch Shepard.... she'll let you in.. but not out!

So who has the dumpster full of cub sheetmetal? I'm in the dark!

That is Ray Weavers place.
Been there...
Seen it...
Makes you wonder like the bread...

Now I know this is a 169 thread, but who wants to start the 800 thread?

Balanced and freshly reground K341 crank is back from Dave K.

Bearing plate installation calls for cap screws and COPPER WASHERS. How important can it be to use copper washers?

The copper washers are probably for the sealing effect. The copper would crush and effictively seal the joint. Ford 9" rearends have the same thing. I've skipped the copper ones and coated the fastener threads with silicone and inserted, never had a leak. fwiw
