Charlie, ty for posting the pics for me. And as far as the garage floor,it sure looks nice but when its dirty it looks horrible so I end up cleaning the garage floor...

Harry B.

Here is a set of weights with the same logos as yours. I was told these weights were made before cub cadets were, but these are yellow! Figure that one out!
Hurry up before Charlie figures it out! LOL!!!

Marty,

They made industrial Cubs before Cub Cadets that were Federal Yellow......

Steve,

That would explain it. I knew they made yellow cubs, just didn't know right off when they were made. Thanks for the quick response and beating Charlie to the draw.

He must be wrapping Christmas gifts, or playing in the snow.

I have to say those wheel weights (using the old IHC logo) are for early Cubs not necessarily for "industrial" Cubs. The casting Dept. didn't determine what tractor they were going on.

Reggie W and Hydro, The A,B,C,Hand M had three bolts attaching it to the casting.

The Turbo Diesel is on loan for the weekend......apparently Rudolph is broken down (he is a Deere after all) and Big Steve...sorry, I mean SANTA, needs a new ride to haul the sleigh tomorrow night......

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I believe it was a few months before the foundry was operational at Louisville Works. Perhaps many of the early weights were made at another plant.

Steve,
Neat pic. Did ya take that today, green grass and all in December? "Santa" looks like he's ready to deliver!

Record high of 60* today, nasty thunderstorms, and even a tornado touchdown just south of me in the Quad City area. Umm, December 23rd last I checked? I could also, dare I say it, mow the yard. Only in Iowa..........

Santa might need to take off his coat and hat and install a mower deck.

2 weeks ago, but doesn't look any different today.....something strange about being outside in a sweatshirt on 12/23.....
