David the bottem right looks like the hardest part..nice

Actually, the upper right was the last to go together.
Of course, 3 cats in the house were a big help!!
Found the last 2 pieces in the sofa chair just behind the table!!

Just wondering...
What were you guys drivin'....."back in the day"??

Here's my ride from July '64 just before I pulled out for my 2nd duty station at Ft. Story VA.

BIG MISTAKE!!! Should have left the car home!! But then again it really was a "chic magnet"
And I probably wouldn't have met Carolyn, my future wife, after transferring to Ft Wood 8 months later.

A 1956 Dodge D-500 315 CID HEMI and a 2 speed power-flite transmission. Lord how I loved tat car. I look at these pictures now, darn near makes me wanna cry!!

David, I'll play. In the 80's I was driving a 1980 Mercury Capri Turbo RS and a 1958 Willys Station Wagon. Forum member Wyatt C is (I think he still has it..) the current owner of the Capri.

David you are showing your age with that car.
Kraig nice.
Here is my first ride and my second.
First is a 1975 Ford van that I bought off my brother. He had it all "decked" out in the inside. I wish I had pics of the inside.
Second is my 1972 Nova. Both was early '80's.

The picture of the Nova was the day I traded it in for this 1981 Camaro.
284163.jpg

Then I drove the Camaro for a while and wish I never sold my Nova. So I went looking for another and ended up with this 1970 Nova SS. I had it for 21 years and sold it in 2005. I pulled the original engine out and put in this blown 355cu.in.(it got rubber in all four gears)

Here's a few more daily drivers.
1975 Vette
1985 Escort
1990 Ranger My nephew now owns the Ranger. He of naturally ruined it by slamming it to the ground. But that's the way he likes it.

I kind figured at the start that my day may just be a little longer than a lot of you guys!!

Perhaps I should have started a new thread on this. May still happen if the powers that be chime in here??!!

David go ahead and start a new thread, Charlie dosn't care

When Chevy dropped the 350hp and 375hp 396's into the Nova,,,,that was crazy

Had a fox hanging around my yard last night. I got a few photos and some video of him.

I was up at the family cabin/property in Northern Wisconsin over the weekend and took some time to walk around on the property. I didn't bring my good camera just an iPod Touch because it's small and easy to carry, it's basically an iPhone without the phone capability. I've been playing around with it and the filter apps on it. Took some photos of the spring hole on the property and I particularly like this one.
