A better look at the plow

Doug - thanks for the heads up on the manual. Saw it on the list and thought it was just the operator manual. Exactly what I was looking for!

Bill J.

ONLY the 12" had the brace.....easy ID... No gauge wheel on a 12" sleeve hitch plow.

Jim D.

I have a 2182 that is getting 82 series sheetmetal from the tunnel cover forward......winter project. Looking forward to 21hp and 30.5 lbft torque out of the WG600B!!!!! Want to tie it to the 2 bottom plow this spring!!!!

JIM D. - Of all those engine swap options, I like the sound of the EFI Kohler the best. Better fuel economy would be nice... the Onan makes decent power when it's running right, but it's Thirsty! Burns almost as much gas as my Super H FARMALL.

Terry...
You are missing the cover in case you want to remove the pto output shaft and use a 3 point, otherwise it looks complete.

Ronald. It is a briggs and stratton 11hp motor.

Well you guys talk engines ; there is one that I would love to add to a Cub. It has been done . I think a 782 would or a super that this engine would be sweet.

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death but I didn't find the info while I searched.
the When looking for a replacement engine, What is the output shaft of the K17? Is it straight or tapered? Obviously if I ever play with new power I will probably make my own Driveshaft to fit what is needed.. just curious about what my stock engine has.
I'm currently looking to repower a Welder/generator it has a kohler Single cylinder K engine. Tapered shaft limits it. With teh tractor, a Driveshaft between engine and trani, there are no limits

Tony, the crank end is towards the front in a Cub Cadet. The PTO mounts onto it so crank size does matter...
