The hold down is a piece of flat plate, likely not original? I looked at the parts list for the 127 and tried to determine if the line drawing was a bent piece or what. I guess it is suppose to hold the battery back against the dash panel(or whatever you want to call it). The hold down now is only good for pulling directly down, not at an angle.

If I turn the battery around(with posts near the dash) the current hold down would go directly over the posts(not good).

I can make a proper hold down if need be. I still want to get a longer positive cable just to give me some wiggle room.

Speaking of dual wheel spacers!
I just got these in the mail yesterday, all 26 pounds of high quality tool steel total turned down from 1 piece of steel, no welds. LOL

Looks like 1/2+ of the weight may have wound up on the cutting room floor!!

Charlie, from the looks of the brackets that appears to be a Windbreaker Cab for the 1x8/9 and Quiet Line series, P/N: 407 421 R2. Looks like it includes the top. Does it also have the back curtain?

Yep, it's a WF/Ql. Back curtains were optional on those. So the answer would be no it doesn't have one. ;-)

Charlie, the top was optional as well, see the excerpt from the Parts and Accessories catalog that I posted below. Sure is nice to see a NOS one.

Hey Charlie - looks like you hit a jackpot again. That QL headlight assembly has been put together tho. It's got an 1x8/9 hinge.
