Charlie, look on the bright side, highway construction season should be just about done.

Must be nice. They are saying it will be in the lower 90's with high humidity all week here in NC!

Charlie we all know you can't wait for the white stuff to start flying,,,you can't fool us

Charlie, down south we have had the same chilly temps as you. Dang, now I have to make sure we have two seasons for clothes handy, since the temps flucuate so dramatically this time of year. Its suppose to be in LOW 40's and highs around 60, the next week a warm up. Yesterday afternoon it was that perfect temp, not to warm and not to chilly. Ahhhh, I LOVE these beautiful fall days. Some of our tree's are already changing. and no doubt thats because of the abnormal lows. I have to admit I am not ready for winter/ or snow. I never am. Seems the older I get the colder it gets. lol

our neighbors have some volunteer pumpkins every year in the same place, and they are just blooming now.

Charlie, sigh. It's too soon for that! Just to be safe I covered my tomato and pepper plants and some other stuff in the garden last night. Some of the fruit needs another week or two to ripen. I'll need to cover them again tonight too.

72 in the shade here on Nova Scotia Canada . Just stopped using the air condition nights this week to cool down the bed room .

It has cooled down to 72 here, but the humidity is still 98%. About five minutes outside, and your clothes are soaked with sweat.
Is there such a thing as waterproof/humidity proof paint? Humidity will make paint wrinkle up like a dried prune. It's like fisheye on steroids.

Made an appointment to get some recalls done on my HD, THEN looked at the weather for the A.M. Gonna be a cold 30 mile ride (low of 42 here tonight). Now where did I store the leathers????

42 and solid fog this morning. Exciting ride to the dealer - about 12 miles of x-way, expecting a semi up my backside if I slowed down...

Charlie .... they were probably smarter too. Turned into a beautiful day here today.

Out working on the new bridge between my place and the neighbor.

Weather guessers are saying there's a chance of snow tonight.

Kraig,
A little further south in Iowa, they are calling for a rain/snow mix. Um, it's October 3rd. Not ready for another nasty, cold winter like last year. Wonder how balmy it is up in Charlie's neck of the woods?

Josh, I was hoping to get a response from Charlie with my post.
