Things are going ok I guess but I'd like to see the little one get some sort of exercise. She stays in the carrier all day except to use the facilities and eat. Right now she's on the floor in front of me to get some different scenery. She has managed to come to the door of the carrier so maybe that's a good sign. I'd like to eventually give her the front bedroom but I want her a little more use to me first.

Here's Graygirals interpretation of a 10 pound cat in a 5 pound box. Sorry for the fuzzy shot.

How do cats do it??? and for hours at a time.

I have a question for the feline people here. The little one is purring very loudly and "making biscuits" on the towel in the carrier. She allows me to drop in a treat without retreating to the rear and a few minutes ago she came up and touched her nose to my finger.

I'm assuming this is a good sign??? It has to be better for her than the tub enclosure where she's all by herself. I may even take her outside today for some fresh air.

Millie just came in and of course ran when she saw the carrier and heard sounds coming from it.

Wayne, great photo of Graygirl in the box.

Sounds like the little one may be warming up to you.

Mike, yep, no white other than the few flecks of white scattered in his coat. I'm debating catching him and moving him to the family farm to become a barn cat. Figure that might be the best thing for him and for our two cats.

Wayne, I'd think that was a good sign! Sounds like it's becoming more relaxed around you.

Kraig, I'd agree with you also. It may be better for all involved if "Blackie" made a new home at the farm. Quite a large cat too!

Wayne S. Marlin here ... Angel is resting... That is great that the kitty gave you a nose beep. It is a sign of affection as in, "Thank You and I love you." I don't think I'd take the little one outside just yet. I'll let Angel write in the morning on that. Otherwise.. the little kitty loves you.

Great pics guys.

What a laid back cat! Great pic!

Marlin-

Good hearing from you. The kitten is breaking me in ever so gently. I think I can pic it up now and will try tomorrow. I spent some time with it today while the guys were outside doing their thing and got it to rub up against the carrier door and against my finger. It purrs like crazy and seems healthy as far as I've seen. It definitely isn't time to go outside yet. That will take a couple of weeks as I did with the guys when they arrived. I'll give it the front bedroom for romping and such which will give the guys that much more time to get use to the new one.

I'm going to get a reputation as the old guy that lives with a bunch of cats. Seeing how I've had dogs all of my life with a cat here and there I never figured it would turn out this way. Labradors have been my life.
