After setting outside under a tarp all winter my #2 125 fired right up.

I had made sure that the battery had a full charge going into the winter, was happy to find out it held. I think the Hy-Tran is too low as it will hardly move. I know it had developed a leak last summer and was getting a bit sluggish. One of a couple issues that prompted me to buy the "green thing", the main one being the need for hydraulic lift due to my shoulder wearing out. I guess I'm going to have to split the 125 to replace the cork gasket.

Thanks to Marty and Kraig's reassurance the K301 would fit into my 100 I leveled it up on my hoist and removed the pin from the clutch lever and raised the drive shaft and with a little wiggle it slipped right into place. The old motor had been sitting in another tractor for years and after I finished bolting it up it started right up and ran good. Thanks guys for the info.

Question in general-

While tilling with the 1650 the ammeter pegs to the right yet a volt meter shows 13.9 volts to the battery at WOT. Could this be just a faulty meter? When it's less than WOT the meter shows more normal readings. I haven't checked the ac voltage at the rectifier yet. Could that have something to do with the issue? When it comes to electrical I have become very lazy.
