Does anyone have any photos of other empliments or attachments that are home built that you normally don't see for sale as accessories? Such as this gang disc.

Thanks

Hey!I aggree.. lets post some of those really cool attachments. here is my 1650-4 blading the driveway.. am gathering parts to build a tandom disk.... would like to have it done for the Montrose PD....
Lets see more projects.... I know they're out there..

I like the disc-a-vator Todd. Here in Missouri we usually drag a harrow behind them. That might smooth things up a bit better.

Darryl, How wide is that blade your pulling? Thanks

the blade is just under 6 feet wide....when I think about the 1000's of miles and all the time someone had to stand behind the team of horses while blading those township roads.....man the beleave these are "the good'o days".

Since this area has been Slooooow for some time, I thought I'd liven it up with a couple fo shots of my Loooong term Original 4x4 project.
I bolted on my modified transmission (grafted on a mid-mount PTO box). The fender pan is an Aaron Schmidt custom built unit (extra wide) to match the modified extended axles.

I'll move on to some more drive-line compontents this fall/winter.

Hey Rick!
Why don't you load that beautiful thing up and drive on over to Montrose,MN this week end. I for one am anxious to see it..... it really dose look cool..hope you find the time soon to finish it....good luck

Rick,
I think you should find an oil burner and put in it. A diesel O... what would be cooler?, Oh, a FWA Diesel Original, that's what!

Darryl,
Unfortunatly my lovely wife and I's anniversary falls on this week-end. ( I just can't get her to catch "yellow" fever)
Keith, the Lil smoker 4x4 Original would be a neet and totally over-the-top idea. Maybe some day. I've got a 10hp Kohler and a 4 cyl Teledyne that I'm trying to decide on which to use.
I may stretch the frame a bit to accept either powerplant.

I'm actually gonna work on the little critter Tonight! Yippee always good to be in the garage.

Kohler is supposed to have a small diesel now too. Love to get my grubby hands on one of those but that won't be happening in my lifetime.

Rick
Love the 4x4!! let me know if you decide to go with the Teledyne and how the instal goes. I'm thinking about instaling a Teledyne in a custom original puller I'm building, and could use any advice you have. Thanks

Someone asked for pictures of the 100 Orchard that I built, but no longer own. When you are 6'2" and weigh 240 plus, there is not a lot of room in it - you don't get on it, you put it on

Lets see if we cant jump start this section. I always wanted to use this line "Look what followed me home!" I guess this is why you should not try to fill your gas tank while the motor is running or hot and accidentlly spill. Poor 782! Well I guess time to breathe new life into it. The heart transplant is going to be a 84 Chevy 2.8 V-6...... More to come.... Oh by the way, the NARROW FRAME CATEGORY 0 THREE POINTS ARE DONE AND FOR SALE! Email me if your interested!

Aaron what are you planning for the front axel?
Are you stickin with the stock rear end?

Man That will turn the heads.Great project look forward to seeing more!

For now I am going to stick with the stock hydro. You know the saying - How many licks to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? Well my version is: How much horse power to get the center of a hydro to explode! First I just want to get it in and mobile and then switch to the manual 4 speed with a narrowed s-10 rear end with 4:11 gears. Front axle will stay stock till end of project and then get the 1" trailer hub conversion and wheels. SHould be interesting. I will try to post pics on my web site as I make progress but will drop some on here also!
