Mike, That's a 44C, for an 82 series I think.
Change the drive pulley and it will work on a QL.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong!!

David and Mike - I think that deck is already set up for a Quiet Line and for Mike's 129 because I can see both front eye bolts are set in the outer holes. All Mike would need is the subframe with the angled pulleys as long as the deck center pulley is for the 3/8 belt as well

My 1250 is doing a terrible job with the first grass cutting of Spring. I hope that sharpening the blade will help.

Ken don't sharpen it, just flip it over and use the other edge lol

Brian - I think Charlie's FAQ 20 is missing the page for 4 digit IH models I think you'll find your 1250 specs at the back of the Operator Manual

Sorry you feel that way Nic.. and I see Jeremiah understands what I was trying to say.. And I did say that both ways accomplish the goal, I just know that I have a way that works for me and tried to share it..

Arrogant? not usually.. cocky would be more likely! But always in fun. I don't need to prove anything here.. so it's over and done imho.

Mike F - but I didn't say anything yet so how could it be over? But I agree with you anyway and I was thinking maybe Nic just sorta misread your post. Since I happen to actually know you I know you're not arrogant but you might want to be but that just means you're a little cocky. What else could it be for someone with a 34 Ford

Jeremiah.. if I find one with a pin that stuck, I'll try and document each step and share with the group as you always do!

No challenge(s).. you are once again a gentleman and one step ahead of me.

I merely wanted to offer the folks here the thought that there could be another way to remove the pin and you don't need to drill perfectly straight, nor go all the way through!

Thanks for the consideration (as always) both for me and this group.

Gee, I guess I also need to thank Kraig and Harry for bringing smiles to my face!

Kraig, that pic is/was priceless ( and timely!)

Harry, would you rather have the 34 or the 169??

Mike C.

If the deck is site unseen, I would ask the seller to remove the belt cover on the mower and clean away the debris. The cover can be a place for unseen corrosion. The 44C (xxC) decks are for the 82 series and have the wrong pulley width which is 5/8".

You would need to get a main center deck pulley from an earlier model deck, 44A, 48A etc.

These days the mix and match is the SOP for finding what you need.

Jim
