I installed a new governor spring on my 1450 (the old one was worn to a thread) and it sounds like it might be running a tad bit fast when I set the throttle to 100%. I was thinking I could just get a cheap spark plug tachometer and adjust the spring position and stop screw using that. Am I going about this the correct way? Also, just want to confirm: the max RPM should be 3600 correct? I saw some different numbers in a few different places.
