I'm new here and could use some help. I've torn down the spindle bearing housings on my 48" deck to replace with new bearing kits. Things went well until I got to the race within the housing. Are these things just press fitted? What's the recommended procedure to release them without screwing up the cast flange? Also...I have a 1641 and need a few parts. Who can name a good source for information and parts? Thanks.

Gayle,
Just drive them out with a hammer and punch. Drive the new ones in the same way.

At the top of the page are a bunch of buttons.
Most of those are parts suppliers.
