44 inch deck

Hi,
Is this skid supposed to have this curl in it ? Should I straiten it out before I weld it. Thanks for your input

My decks all have wheels but a picture from my deck manual shows this.

Older decks had front skids/rear wheels. Early 80's and up had anti-scalp wheels front and normal wheels back.

My decks have front wheels. They are “C” decks converted to”A” decks.
