Hello all, I'm new to this forum but have owned my 127 for 32 years.
My 48" (ID# 482U1116) deck needed spindles as the originals pulleys were shot and I could not find replacements for the outer 2. I found some rebuilt spindles for a 42" and got them mounted but the center blade speed is way too slow to cut effectively. The center pulley has a 6" top 7" bottom which makes the center blade speed way too slow and the outers extremely fast. Do you know the part number of the smaller center pulley for the 42" pulley?
Thanks for any help.

Michael V: Welcome. Glad to see you..

However, there's IH Tractor style Lawn Mowers, which this thread is for and then there are Garden Tractors like your 127. Please post your inquiries about it in the top thread, for IH Garden Tractors, for better responses...

Question (reply in the GT thread) Are you mowing with the throttle wide open?? The 127 must have the engine at full speed while mowing...ground speed is controlled by the Tranny!. Mowing with the throttle at less than WOT will surely give you a "too slow" center blade speed. That's the way they are designed!!

Thanks Myron B. I re-posted on the GT thread.
I hope I can solve this. I have to go over my lawn several times and it still doesn't look right.
