A554.......that's an odd one to want to collect.......560/660 Wheatland would be more attainable....

What can I say

I've got a small obsession with Geelong built McCormicks!

What I really want is a McCormick A564, but even down under, they're a sort of rare bird.

I suppose I could cross a Super WD9 and a 460 and sort of have one... but this is something where the trip will be as fun as the destination

I'm sure the International 350 and 460 Wheatlands in Diesel or LP would be pretty rare, too. I could never quite get my head around a Wheatland or Standard version in the 350/460 horsepower size. I read somewhere that they were more common on the smaller wheat growing areas in the Western Canadian Provinces. My Super W-4 came from that area.

I'm looking forward to seeing some Forum members in Des Moines. I'll be there Wednesday eve through early afternoon on Saturday. I'm bringing a few Cub Cadets. Maybe the Super-4 will get hauled to Huron in 2020??
Wyatt: Good luck with the A554. Didn't know much about ithem. I had to do some research.

My trio for RPRU
May bring the survivor 147 picked up last fall if room permits.
And in the cooling department, will have the 1951 model 158 freezer on display in the domestic's bldg. Which, BTW, will be looking for a new home.
See my ad in the classified section.

David, your 104 sure has a wide stance in that photo due to the wide frame front axle/spindles. Took me a second to figure out why it looked a bit "odd" to me.

David, nothing wrong with it, I was not criticizing or getting all correct police on you.

I was just making an observation. I should have been more clear, by "odd" I mean "not what I was expecting to see." I actually think it gives it a cool aggressive look.

Those look great Dave....but lately I've been waiting for my Cubs to ripen to a full IH 2150 red

That will make a great line up for sure!!!!!

Steve B...that disk is amazing, very cool.
Dave S...super line up; nice variety there!

I understand the Cub Cadets will be in or around the 4-H building. Does anyone know whether they'll be inside or outside, and the most convenient spot to unload them? I'm not sure whether there is a street/entrance directly south of that building or not. If so that would be ideal for this, although it's not the way I usually enter the state fairgrounds.

They're going to have to clarify *what* 4-H building. For spending several days there every summer, it's at least half 4-H buildings!

IF they're doing it outside, there's a grass area northwest of the 4-H "exhibits" building, but there's no trees (and usually barely any grass). I was hoping they'd have planned to have it somewhere by Grandfather's farm or under the trees by the Bill Riley Stage (near the beer tent!).

And for heaven's sake, I hope they don't put it near the Juan Deere building!

I'll be there Sunday. There is a meeting at the Varied Industry Bldg. at 8AM Monday for all the volunteers to report in for various tasks that are in need of helpers.
I will report back as soon as I get the hang of the show field. Sure hope they have WiFi there or I will be forced to use my wife's dinky little tablet 'puter, I hate that thing, My fingers are too dam big!!

So long as MTD/Cub Cadet doesn't pull a classless move and show up with some overly large display of ZTR's like they did in Huron, there should be plenty of room inside the building.
