For sale 2284 Super Cadet.
This tractor has been sitting for 10 years. Currently not running. It did run when it was put away in the garage. It has always been stored inside.
My father was the original owner. It was used a few years after he passed away in 2008.
I also have the mower deck that came with it. Treactor and mower deck are in reasonably good shape.
Like I said, tractor is not currently running. Asking $700 cash.
Tractor is located in Centerburg, Ohio. Local pickup only. I will not ship the tractor.

sounds good
Geez, think you undervalued it. Did it sit for years with gas in the tank? Yes? Drain it all including the carb. Use Gumout or Seafoam with 1gallon 93 octane. Crank the engine to get the new gas in the carb, let sit overnite. It will start. This tractor was cared for.
The mower, minus a couple wheels, looks fantastic and is evidence of that care.
Cheers, Jack

Hey Jerry, glad you found a buyer, what a deal that was. Hope the new owner can update us on the status of its return to service. I currently own a 2284 and think it's among the best tractors ever made!

Now this is a rare find.... I can't remember the last time I seen one of these hoods and grills actually all in one piece!!! A really good deal I'd say. Good Score for the buyer.
