Morning, MY youngest son has this cub and he was mowing and suddenly developed motor noise. He drove mower back to shed and later started it & drove in to trailer. He brought it to our house, started it and unloaded from trailer and ran for like 10 minutes. The motor noise reminds me of maybe like head gasket leaking compression or noise similar sound to leaking exhaust noise, could not hear any knocks or internal rattles indicating serious problems? Ran compression check cold & dry at 85 lbs, then oil wet & cold at 90 lbs. Have not ran leak down, but will re- check all to be sure air filter is off & throttle wide open, then a leak down. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank You in advance. CDZ
