I bought this CC1711 several years ago now for $250. It was nice with only 400+ hours. I can't fix anything myself so I had to pay my lawnmower fix it guy plenty$ and it needed some parts including the deck hubs and those cost a lot. But it is all good as I mow about an acre when needed (evey two weeks or so) and that boy really cuts. It goes through high grass without any problems. i have a couple of JD 345's and it cuts better than those. It seems to have more power than those JD's.

Sharp tractor. Technically, the 1711 is a 1985 model year tractor, but could have been produced towards the end of calendar year 1984. I too have one that has a Magnum 20 swapped into it that is my plow tractor.

Always liked the graphics on the 1711s. If a nice one ever came up for sale around here, I'd probably pick it up.

The deceased owner of the CC1711 was a Corvette body specialist and then got off into Ferrari body work. They tell me the engine in this unit was replaced under warranty sometimes in his ownership and shows only 400+ hours. I know that it runs well and has lots of power for cutting tall grass. I am going to paint the wheels and it will look some better when that is done. It is almost 40 years old.
