Hello, I am looking for the size of the driveshaft bearing on a 1962 Cub Cadet original. I believe the driveshaft is 5/8” but I can’t find the bearing size on the bearing. It is so worn out that it doesn’t even say made in America anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you are talking about the thrust bearing, parts 16 and 17 in the diagram below?

If so, they are a standard thrust bearing and washers. Match up by ID, OD, and thickness. McMaster-Carr or a local bearing supplier will have them.

Same advice for that one, it is a standard ball bearing with a spherical outer race. Measure ID, OD and width, or take to a bearing supplier.
