I am looking for a mid 1990's 1864 parts tractor (others that MIGHT? work 1782, 1862, 1872, 1882, 2082) for all the power steering parts to convert my 1863. Perhaps something that has no motor or transmission or bodywork sitting in someone's back yard? Located in Western Wisconsin but I am willing to travel a considerable distance for the right deal. I would prefer a tractor so I would know how it is attached and has all the parts, but would consider just the parts if someone had everything already removed. Land line: Seven 1 five 425 eighty five fifty five.

Easier to take your 1863 parts and put them on a 1864 donor if has no motor. You will have to remove all the plastic, engine, and various other parts to get to the power steering unit.

There is one on Facebook market place for 200 right now. A complete 1864 ps already off the tractor. Or at least there was the other day. It's
East somewhere.

Here it is

After looking at Facebook marketplace when I switched up my search parameters to 500 miles, it sure looks like I would be time and money ahead just upgrading to a Cub with power steering. There were several out there that are good candidates for someone with my skill level. Thanks for the advice!
