Having trouble getting the neutral position set on my 1650. Have moved the position bracket up and down with limited success. Have not been able to get the pressure up to 200 lbs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The charge pump relief / implement relief pressures and neutral position are not related to each other. See the service manual for the correct procedure for checking/adjusting both items.

Michael,

Most likely reason your having trouble getting the neutral position adjusted properly is due to wear in the trunnion arm slot on your hydro pump. It likely has wear at each end that needs to be addressed by welding and the two springs and tabs replaced. See the FAQ link. Cub Cadet FAQ If you have access to a MIG welder and are proficient in using it or know someone who is, that is the easiest way to take care of the wear in the slot.

Thanks for the advice and Quiet Line service manual. Will weld up trunnion arm slot and order new springs. Once again thanks to all!
