HELP! My 1512 has started dying while cutting grass. It runs fine when first started, but after 30 minutes or so, it will die. It will crank back up, but does this over and over. It doesn't die like you cut the fuel off, but slower like it is starving for fuel. I have replaced the cartrige filter and an inline before the fuel pump. I assume it could be the fuel pump, but what else could be happening?

thanks,
Darrin

Look at the screen on the fuel shutoff valve that goes in bottom of your tank. They are well known to plug up over time. Almost bet that is teh problem

Had the same problem on mine. Easy check is the fuel return line should have good flow. When the engine is running. Was like a brown algae stuff that clogged the screen on the fuel shut off valve.

Removed the fine screen and no more problems.

Pull fuel tank , rinse & clean out, replace shutoffs & or screens maybe good time to replace fuel lines too.

Thanks evryone. I finally got a change to pull the tank and clean the screen. That fixed it so far.
