Steve, where did you find a set of replacement hydraulic lines for a dual-spool 1450!? I spent days looking before I bought a roll of nickel-copper brake line and made my own...
 
Sure is different than mine.
On mine, the end of the rod is tapped and threaded and then end screws onto it with a short threaded shaft that acts as a shear pin if hit hard enough.
