Gents,
I replaced a fan that mounts on my 1282 drive shaft. The previous owner had installed it backwards on the shaft causing it to break upon starting. As I looked at the connection between the shaft and the rear axle housing I see that there are 2 soft discs. I have never seen this before. Also my shaft has slop in it (you can move it by hand). Was this designed like this?
